Following the launch of the Realme GT flagship earlier this month, Realme is now gearing up for the launch of a slightly more affordable model known as the Realme GT Neo on March 31st.
This device, unlike the Realme GT, will be powered by MediaTek’s latest flagship Dimensity 1200 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 888 SoC. It is in fact the first smartphone in the world to be equipped with the Dimensity 1200 chipset as well.
Today, a new rumor out of China seems to suggest that the upcoming Realme GT Neo is expected to carry a launch price that sits below 2,000 Yuan (US$306). This will allow the device to compete with other Snapdragon 870-powered smartphones like the Motorola Edge S and Redmi K40 which are currently priced below the 2,000 Yuan mark.
Although there isn’t much details pertaining to the Realme GT Neo at the moment, but its likely to feature largely similar specs as the Realme GT. As such, we could well expect to see identical specs like 6.43” Super AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, 64MP triple-camera setup, 4,500mAh battery, as well as 65W SuperDart charging support.
