Realme GT Neo2T debuts with MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI

Last month, Realme announced the brand new Realme GT Neo2 smartphone in the Chinese market where the phone was met with much fanfare, having more than 100,000 units sold during it’s debut sale.

Now, the company is back to the smartphone scene with a follow-up model known as the Realme GT Neo2T that comes at a slightly more affordable price point than the GT Neo2.

Right off the bat, the Realme GT Neo2T builds around a 6.43” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, as well as a 16 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfie and video calls.

On the flipside, the phone features a rectangular camera island which houses a triple-cam setup comprising of a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography.

Just like the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, the Realme GT Neo2T is powered by a custom MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset which will be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.

To keep it’s lights on, the Realme GT Neo2T draws power from a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. Aside from that, other noteworthy features also include the presence of an in-display fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS.

For those who’re interested, the Realme GT Neo2T is available in both Black and White colorways, and is priced starting at 1,899 Yuan (US$297) for it’s 8GB+128GB base model.
