Realme GT Neo3 Confirmed to Feature Dimensity 8100, 150W UltraDart charging

MediaTek announced the Dimensity 8100 and Dimensity 8000 chipsets today through the MWC 2022 event. Soon after the launch, Realme China’s CMO Xu Qi took to Weibo to claim that Realme GT Neo 3 will be the first device to feature the Dimensity 8100 SoC.

A couple of Dimensity 8100 powered smartphones are in the works such as Realme GT Neo3, Redmi K50 Pro, Vivo X80 series, and a OnePlus Nord branded phone. However, it appears that Realme would be the first Dimensity 8100 debut in the Chinese market. This model is also confirmed to arrive with support for 150W UltraDart fast charging tech.

Realme GT Neo3 Specifications (Rumored)

The Realme GT Neo3 is believed to be the RMX3560/2 Realme phones that were recently approved by TENAA and 3C certification sites of China. The handset will be arriving in two battery variants. The 4,500mAh battery edition is expected to carry support for 150W UltraDart charging, whereas the 5,000mAh battery variant of the phone may come with 80W fast charging. The rest of the specs will be identical on both models.

The GT Neo3 has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The front side of the phone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera and an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel triple camera unit. The latter includes an 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel auxiliary cameras.

The Dimensity 8100 powered handset will be equipped with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of built-in storage. It will come preinstalled with Android 12 OS and Realme UI 3.0.
