Following the success of last year’s Realme GT Neo2 smartphone, Realme is now back with it’s next-generation’s Realme GT Neo3 device in it’s domestic market which will be taking on the likes of some recent models such as the Redmi K50.
Right off the bat, the Realme GT Neo3 features a spacious 6.7” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution along with a fast 120Hz refresh rate that makes scrolling and animation appear smoother on the screen. On top of that, the display itself is also HDR10+ certified and is powered by an independent display chip for smoother game play.
In the imaging department, the Realme GT Neo3 relies on a triple rear camera system lead by a 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 main camera along with an 8 megapixels ultra-wide and a 2 megapixels macro camera for close up photography. This will be rounded out by a 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Realme GT Neo3 is powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage in the memory department that are respectively backed by the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage technologies.
To keep it’s lights on, the Realme GT Neo3 draws power from a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for a blazing-fast 150W UltraDart charging which is capable of recharging the phone from 0 to 50% in merely 5 minutes. That’s in fact the fastest wired charging solution in the smartphone market at the moment.
Also, there’s a more affordable model that comes with a slightly larger 5,000mAh battery with a slower 80W charging speed which is able to deliver a full charge from 0 to 100% in just 32 minutes. Moving on to the software side, the phone will be shipped with Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 OS right off the box.
For those who’re interested, the Realme GT Neo3 carries a starting price of 2,599 Yuan ($408) for the 150W model with 8GB+256GB configuration. As for the standard model with 80W charging speed, pricing will start from just 1,999 Yuan (US$314) for it’s 6GB+128GB trim.
