Realme Likely to Partner with Kodak For Upcoming Camera Flagship

Realme had previously claimed that it will be announcing a GT series camera flagship in July. Rumors are rife that the Realme GT Master Edition 5G that is expected to debut soon in China could be the camera flagship that the company has been teasing. Fresh information suggests that the company may have teamed up with Kodak to offer optimized photography experience on the device.

Earlier today, Realme China’s CMO Xu Qi shared a camera sample that was shot using a forthcoming Realme phone. The sample looks impressive, but since its watermark has been blurred out, it is not clear whether the image was shot using the Realme GT Master Edition or some other phone.

The Realme GT Master Edition is said to be the Realme RMX3366 phone that was approved by the TENAA authority in the recent past. The listing revealed that the phone’s rear camera setup has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel secondary lens, and a 2-megapixel lens. It is speculated that the company will be using the Sony IMX766 primary lens, which was previously seen on the likes of the OPPO Find X3 Pro and Reno6 Pro+.

According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, Realme will be partnering with a well-known camera manufacturer, and it will be making its announcement at the GT Master Edition launch event, which is expected to take place this month in China.

It can be said based on information by another leaker that Realme may have collaborated Kodak, which was a popular name in the world of photography. To the ones who are unaware, Kodak announced bankruptcy back in 2012 and since then it has been concentrating on its printing solutions. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know whether the company has really partnered with Kodak.
