After unveiling the Realme XT in India last week, the Chinese smartphone maker is now set to bring the device to their home market. The device will be officially announced in China on September 24th and will be rebranded as the Realme X2 instead.
During the launch event of the Realme XT in India, Realme has revealed that the Realme XT will also have a gaming-centric variant which is driven by the Snapdragon 730G SoC. However, this particular model will only be released in India in December. For the upcoming launch event in China, we do expect both models to make their official debut as well.
Realme X2 Specifications
The Realme X2 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a full HD+ screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The device is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 712 chipset and has up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage in it’s memory compartment.
The quad camera setup of the Realme X2 includes a 64-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, it’s water drop notch houses a 16 megapixels selfie camera as well.
The handset also has a 4,000mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge tech. The Snapdragon 730G powered Realme X2 730G variant on the other hand, will be arriving with 30W fast charging and it may feature a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel.
