Realme X3 SuperZoom goes official with Snapdragon 855+, 64MP Quad-cameras & 65W fast-charging

Yesterday, we’d witnessed the official launch of the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition in the Chinese market. Today, Realme is back again with the launch of the Realme X3 SuperZoom in the European market. Some of the key highlights of this device of course include its superior zooming capability and its attractive price tag.

Realme X3 SuperZoom

In terms of design, the Realme X3 SuperZoom doesn’t differ much from the current Realme X50 Pro 5G. The Realme X3 SuperZoom will continue to feature a pill-shape cut out on the top-left corner which will play host to a 32 megapixels main camera and an 8 megapixels depth sensor. The front display is a 6.6-inches FHD+ LCD display which is able to support an ultra smooth 120Hz screen refresh rate.

At the back, the Realme X3 SuperZoom features a vertical camera module which houses a powerful quad-cameras system. The four cameras at the back consist of 64 megapixels Samsung GW1 main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 8 megapixels periscope camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. Its rear camera system is headlined by its ability to achieve up to 5x optical zoom and as much as 60x digital zoom.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by a slightly older Snapdragon 855+ SoC as an attempt to keep the device affordable, keeping in mind that 5G networks are still unavailable in most countries. According to Realme, the Realme X3 SuperZoom has attained highest score on AnTuTu among all the current Snapdragon 855+ driven smartphones including the ASUS ROG Phone 2.

In the memory department, you can find a hefty 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 flash storage as well. To keep its lights on, there will be a respectable 4,200mAh battery at the helm which comes with support for the latest 30W SuperDart fast-charging technology. As usual, the device will boot on the custom Realme UI based on the latest Android 10 OS.

In terms of pricing, the Realme X3 SuperZoom will be priced at 499 Euro (US$547) for its sole 12GB+256GB model. It will be available in a total of two color variants namely Arctic White and Glacier Blue.
