Realme has previously confirmed that the company will soon be unveiling their first-ever 5G smartphone dubbed as the Realme X50.
Now, the company has taken a step further by revealing that the upcoming handset will be driven by the newly announced Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G SoC. The new chip will come with integrated 5G modem that is capable of support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes.
Similarly, the Snapdragon 765G SoC also promises advanced AI processing, up to 192 megapixels still images, 4K HDR recordings, as well as a load of other interesting features. The upcoming Redmi K30 and Oppo Reno3 Pro are some other devices which will be also be utilizing this SoC.
According to the earlier teaser released by Realme, the Realme X50 is likely to arrive with a pill-shaped, hole punch display that houses two selfie cameras. Such design seems to be trending among recent upper mid-ranger 5G smartphone as we’d already seen similar design from the Honor V30 and Huawei Nova 6.
