So far, the company remain tight-lipped regarding it’s official launch date which is said to fall in the first-quarter of 2020. However, according to a response made on Weibo by Realme’s Product Director Wang Wei, the X50 might be announced as early as January next year.

When asked by a Weibo user if he’s able to able to bring the Realme X50 with him during the upcoming Chinese New Year, Wang’s response was “Yes”. Therefore, the device could possibly arrive before January 25th next year.

As of now, there still isn’t much information on the Realme X50 but we do know that it will be featuring a pill-shaped, hole punched display that looks pretty similar to that of the Honor V30 and Huawei Nova 6. The device will also be able to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes out of the box.

It should be able to support the latest VOOC flash-charging technology and is expected to feature an impressive screen refresh rates of 90Hz or 120Hz for it’s front display.
