Realme X50 Pro 5G to Launch on February 24

Last year, Realme had unveiled the Realme X2 Pro as its first flagship phone. Now, the company is gearing up to introduce the Realme X50 Pro 5G. As the name goes, it will be arriving as an advanced version of the Realme X50 5G phone that was made official in the previous month. Today, Realme China CMO Xu Qi confirmed that there will be a global launch event for the Realme X50 Pro 5G smartphone on Feb. 24 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 tech exhibition.

Apart from launching the Realme X50 Pro 5G at the MWC 2020 in Barcelona, Spain, the company also has some other surprises for its fans. One of them is the Realme TV and the other one could be the Realme fitness band. The teaser image shared by Xu Qi suggests that the Realme X50 Pro 5G will have a dual punch-hole display.

Over the weekend, Xu Qi had shared a screenshot that had revealed the key features of the upcoming Realme X50 Pro 5G. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 865 mobile platform and 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Android 10 OS on the Realme X50 Pro 5G is overlaid with the Realme V1.0 UI. The device offers an internal storage of 256 GB out of which 145 GB will be available for the users.

The exact size of the display of the Realme X50 Pro 5G is not known yet. However, the screenshot suggest that it will offer full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a tall aspect ratio of 20:9.

The model number of the device is RMX2071. The RMX2071 model number was spotted on AnTuTu benchmarks in AnTuTu. It was revealed that the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform powered device had recorded a stunning benchmarking score of 574,895.
