We’d already heard recently that Realme will be holding an official launch event on May 25th to commemorate the company’s latest milestone of crossing 35 million user base globally.
Now, Realme has finally revealed the identity of the smartphone to be announced during the upcoming launch event. This device will be known as the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition previously carried the codename “Blade Runner”. It has been confirmed to be a gaming-centric smartphone which is likely to compete against the likes of OPPO Reno Ace2 and the iQOO Neo3.
Just yesterday, the company had released a real life image of the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition – showing off the rear design of the device in full glory. However, other than a brand new Lightspeed Silver shade, the device has pretty much the same rear design as the current Realme X50 Pro 5G.
As of now, the front design of the Realme X50 Pro Player Edition remain a mystery. However, it is possible that the device will maintain a similar design as the X50 Pro 5G at the front as well. This means that it would be arriving with a dual hole-punched design for its front panel.
While there isn’t much information pertaining to the specs of the device, but speculations are rife that the device will also be fueled by the flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC. However, it is expected to feature several enhancements with regards to its screen refresh rate and touch sampling rate which would improve overall gaming experience on the smartphone.
