Realme’s Blade Runner Phone Will be Anniversary Gift for Realme Fans

Realme will be announcing eight new products on May 25 in China. The Realme X3 series will be the major attraction of the event. The company is also working on the launch of a new flagship phone that is powered by Snapdragon 865. In terms of its rear appearance, it resembles the Realme X50 Pro 5G. Hence, it is unclear whether it will be a part of the Realme X3 series or it will be arriving as a more powerful and gaming version of the Realme X50 Pro 5G. Today, Realme CMO Xu Qi took to Weibo to reveal a new poster of the phone.

The poster states that the global users of Realme have crossed 35 million mark. Hence, the gaming-focused flagship phone will be released as an anniversary gift for Realme fans.

As can be seen from the poster, Realme’s gaming-centric handset has a quad-camera setup on its back. The phone that resembles with Realme X50 Pro 5G has a slight enhancement alongside the camera setup. The handset does not have a rear or side-facing fingerprint reader. This suggests that the phone has an in-screen fingerprint reader.

The Realme Blade Runner smartphone has a model number of RMX2072. At AnTuTu, the Realme Blade Runner smartphone scored 600,806 points. The smartphone has also appeared at the database of the 3C certification platform of China. The 3C appearance revealed that the smartphone could be shipping with a 65W fast charger.

Realme is yet to confirm the specifications of the Realme RMX2072 smartphone. The handset is expected to debut as the last flagship phone powered by Snapdragon 865 in the first half of the year.

The May 25 event could see the arrival of several new products. Some of the devices that are expected to go official at the event include Realme Wireless Buds Pro, a new power bank, Realme TV and Realme Watch.
