Realme X7 Max will debut in India on May 4th

Realme’s CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the company will be holding an official launch event on May 4th to mark the company’s 3rd anniversary. Among the list of products to be unveiled include the much anticipated Realme X7 Max which has been frequenting the rumor mills recently.

Based on what we’d learned so far, the Realme X7 Max is expected to be a rebranded model of the Realme GT Neo smartphone which was launched in the Chinese market earlier this year. This means that India is actually slated to be come the first country in the global market to begin offering this exciting handset.

Realme X7 Max Specifications (Expected)

The Realme X7 Max is expected to share largely similar specs as the Realme GT Neo. Therefore, the device is likely to come with a  6.43” FHD+ Super AMOLED display that offers a smooth 120Hz screen refresh rate and a responsive 360Hz touch sampling rate. On top of that, it also boasts an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 16 megapixels selfie camera.

Around the back of the device, it sports a rectangular camera island that houses a triple-camera setup comprising of a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.

Under the hood, the Realme X7 Max is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset which makes the phone a viable alternative to the recently announced Redmi K40 Gaming Edition smartphone. To deliver a more immersive gaming experience, its also equipped with a dedicated tactile engine which offers electrifying 4D vibrations during gaming.

Furthermore, the device backed by a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 50W Dart Charging that’s capable of bringing the battery from o to 50% in just 16 minutes. On the software-side, its shipped with the latest Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS.
