After MediaTek announced the Dimensity 1200 chipset, Realme confirmed that it will be among the first brands to launch a phone featuring the new chip.
A fresh report by GSMArena claims that the Realme X9 Pro will be breaking cover as the company’s first Dimensity 1200 powered handset. The publication also shared the key specifications of the smartphone. At the same time, a well-known Chinese tipster shared the leaked specifications of the Realme Race Pro handset.
Realme X9 Pro Specifications (Rumored)
The Realme X9 Pro is expected to arrive with a 6.4-inch OLED screen that offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It may carry support for 120Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 1200 powered phone may ship with up to 12 GB of LPPDR5 RAM. It could be available in storage choices like 128 GB and 256 GB.
The handset may house a 4,500mAh battery that will tag along with 65W fast charge support. It is expected to feature a 108-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel triple camera system. A recent teaser released by the company’s CEO Madhav Sheth suggests that the Realme X9 phone may launch alongside the Realme X7 Pro.
Realme Race Pro Specifications (Rumored)
The Realme Race Pro could be a flagship phone driven by the Snapdragon 888 chipset. It may come with a massive 6.81-inch OLED screen that offers a 3K resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution and a 160Hz refresh rate. It is speculated to come with 12 GB of LPPDR5 RAM and storage options such as 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB.
The Race Pro may sport a 64-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel triple camera system. It could be backed by a 5,000mAh battery and it is likely to arrive as the company’s first phone with its very own 125W fast charging technology. It is unclear whether the Race Pro is the same handset that has been mentioned as only “Race” in recent reports.
The leak concludes by saying that Realme will be launching the Realme X9 Pro and Realme Race Pro in Q1 2021.
