Red Magic 5G phone will be launching in China soon. Nubia is yet to confirm on its launch date. Recent leaks have revealed that the model number of the device is NX659J. The same model number was recently spotted on the website of China’s 3C authority. A reliable tipster from China has shared the key specifications of the smartphone.
According to the leak, the Nubia Red Magic 5G phone that is speculated to launch this month will be equipped with a 6.65-inch display. There is no confirmed on the display design of the phone. The Red Magic 3s that was unveiled last year had the same-sized screen. Hence, the upcoming Red Magic 5G phone could be sporting a notch-less display like the Red Magic 3S. The leak reveals that the display will produce full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and supports a refresh rate of 144Hz. The Red Magics 3s support 90Hz refresh rate.
The Chinese firm has already confirmed that the Red Magic 5G phone will be powered by Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. The presence of the chipset will bring support for dual-mode 5G connectivity on the device. The new leak states that the phone will be equipped with the latest 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
The exact size of the battery of the Red Magic 5G phone has not be revealed. However, the 3C listing had hinted that it will be arriving with 55W fast charging support. The back panel of the phone is equipped with a triple camera system. The leak states that it may feature the Sony IMX686 64-megapixel lens as the primary shooter. The pricing of the phone remains a mystery.
