Red Magic 5S Has 320Hz Touch Sampling Shoulder Buttons

Nubia has started teasing the arrival of the Red Magic 5S smartphone. It will be arriving as an enhanced version of the Red Magic 5G phone that debuted earlier this year. Now that the company is aggressively teasing the phone’s arrival, it may go as early as next month. Today, the Nubia CEO Ni Fei released a video on Weibo to reveal that the Red Magic 5S will arrive with 320Hz touch sampling shoulder triggers.

The Snapdragon 865 powered Red Magic 5G phone had arrived with a 300Hz touch sampling rate capacitive trigger buttons for gaming. For enhanced gaming experience, the trigger buttons of the Red Magic 5S that are powered by industry-leading dual IC touch chip solution will supports 320H touch sampling rate

Like the Red Magic 5G, the forthcoming Red Magic 5S’ screen will support up to 144Hz refresh rate along with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Nubia is yet to confirm it, but it is heavily speculated to be driven by the Snapdragon 865+ mobile platform.

The Red Magic 5S will be arriving with an upgraded cooling system that make use of silver along with 4843mm2 head-dissipation copper foil, thermal gel and the centrifugal cooling fan. The company has also confirmed the smartphone will be arriving with LPDDD5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Red Magic 3S had gone official in September last year. Now that the company is actively revealing the features of the device, it may go official in August. Before it goes, the gaming smartphone is expected to appear on TENAA with all its specs. It is expected to rival with Xiaomi’s upcoming Black Shark gaming phone.
