Red Magic 7 Design Confirmed Via TENAA Images

Red Magic 7 with an NX679J model number was certified by the TENAA authority of China earlier this month. The previously seen listing had only confirmed the specifications of the device. Now, TENAA has updated the listing with images of the phone.

Red Magic 7 Design

As can be seen, Red Magic 7 will be sporting a full-screen display with symmetrical top and bottom bezels like the predecessor models. The forehead of the device is fitted with a selfie camera and the screen is integrated with a fingerprint sensor.

Flipping the phone to its back reveals its vertical camera module. A vent can be seen on the right side of the camera unit for heat dissipation. The right side of the device has gaming trigger buttons and a power key, whereas its left edge has a game mode slider and volume buttons.

Red Magic 7 Specifications

Beginning from the front, the Red Magic 7 will feature a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED display, which seemingly supports a 165Hz refresh rate. The TENAA listing does not have accurate information on the front and rear cameras of the device. It only mentions that the Red Magic 7 has a 64-megapixel primary camera. The handset is expected to run on Android 12 OS and Red Magic UI.

The Red Magic 7 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and up to 18 GB of RAM. It may offer users up to 512 GB of built-in storage. Probably, it may house a 4,500mAh battery. The 3C certification of the device revealed that it may carry support for 165W rapid charging. The Red Magic 7 is likely to go official in February or March in China.
