Red Magic 7S Series is Launching on July 11

In the first half of 2022, Nubia unveiled the Red Magic 7 and Red Magic 7 Pro gaming smartphones in China. Later, both phones were made available in global markets. Today, the company confirmed that it will be announcing the Red Magic 7S series at 3 PM (local time) on July 11 in China.

The Red Magic 7S series will be an incremental upgrade over the Red Magic 7 lineup. The July 11 launch event is likely to see the arrival of two devices, such as the Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro smartphones.

Reports have revealed that the Red Magic 7S has an NX679S model number, whereas the 7S Pro has an NX709S model number. Both devices have bagged approval from the 3C certification platform in China in the past. Both gaming smartphones have also bagged TENAA certifications.

Red Magic 7S, 7S Pro Specifications (Rumored)

The Red Magic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro will feature a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED panel. The former may support a 120Hz refresh rate, whereas the latter may offer a 165Hz refresh rate. The vanilla model will be backed by a 4,500mAh battery, which may support 120W fast charging. On the other hand, the Pro model will include a 5,000mAh battery, which may support either 135W or 165W fast charging. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset will power the Red Magic 7S series

Both smartphones will offer up to 18 GB of RAM, with the vanilla model having up to 512 GB of built-in storage, while the Pro edition may arrive with up to 1 TB of native storage. Additionally, the two devices may also feature a 64-megapixel triple camera as well as an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, with the Pro model adopting an under-display selfie camera.
