Red Magic 9 Pro design, color options revealed before November 23 launch

In October, Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip onboard. The iQOO 12 and 12 Pro that debuted earlier this month also feature the same chip. A couple of other brands like Realme, OnePlus, Redmi, and Meizu are also gearing up to launch SD8G3 phones in China. Recently, Nubia confirmed that it will announce the Red Magic 9 Pro, as the first-ever gaming phone equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, on Nov. 23 in China. Ahead of the launch, the brand has released the official renders of the device to showcase its design and color variants.

What makes the Red Magic 9 Pro standout from all the other flagship phones available is its captivating design. On the front, it promises a full-screen experience as there is an under-display camera on the front.

The back panel of the phone is completely flat as there is no camera module protrusion. A closer look suggests that the device is equipped with a dual-camera system. Reports have revealed that it has a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary camera, which carries support for OIS. It will be joined by a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera.

It will arrive in three color variants, such as Dark Night Knight (black), Deuterium Transparent Dark Night, and Deuterium Transparent Silver Wings. The smartphone is now available for reservations through JD.com. At present, there is no word on the price of the device.

To recall, the Red Magic 8 Pro was introduced with a starting price of 3,999 Yuan (~$550) in China last year in December. The successor model could be priced at around 4,500 Yuan ($620).
