Red Magic 9 Pro sports a flat rear design, camera details leaked

Nubia’s Red Magic 9 Pro is scheduled to be officially unveiled on Nov. 23 in China. Recently, the brand released a teaser poster that provides a glimpse of its impressive design. Furthermore, a new leak has revealed the camera specifications of the device.

Red Magic 9 Pro flat design teased

From the teaser image, it’s evident that the Red Magic 9 Pro features a flat design both on the front and rear. This suggests that the phone won’t have a curved edge screen; instead, it will have a flat display. Additionally, the back panel of the Red Magic 9 Pro is also flat, indicating that there won’t be any camera bump. This design element sets the phone apart, as there haven’t been many recent phones with such a sleek and elegant design.

As per a leak by DCS, the Red Magic 9 Pro will feature an OIS-enabled Samsung GN5 main camera with a 1/1.57-inch camera sensor size. It will be joined by a Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, which is also available on the Xiaomi 14 and iQOO 12. It appears that the megapixel count of both cameras will be 50-megapixel.

Like the recently unveiled flagship phones, such as the Xiaomi 14 series and iQOO 12 series, the Red Magic 9 Pro will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. In fact, it will be the first gaming-focused phone to feature the said chipset. The company hasn’t confirmed any more details about the Red Magic 9 Pro yet, which suggests that it may confirm a few details in the next few days before the official announcement.

Nubia is not talking about the standard Red Magic 9 device yet. Hence, it is unclear whether it will be announced alongside the Pro model on Nov. 23.
