Redmi 10 will be heading to several other SEA countries including Thailand

Last week, we’d gotten our first official look at the upcoming Redmi 10 smartphone, courtesy of several press renders that were published on Courts Singapore, which had since been taken down from the website.

Now, it appears that the Redmi 10 will also be heading to several South-East Asian markets including Thailand, as the phone was apparently spotted on Thai’s NBTC authority earlier today.

This device, as we can tell from it’s moniker, will be succeeding last year’s Redmi 9 – sporting some really nice upgrades which make the phone an even more attractive entry-level smartphone.

The phone will however, remain as a 4G smartphone, so those who’re looking for a budget-friendly 5G device will probably have to look at Redmi Note 10 series phones like the Redmi Note 10 5G (Review).

Redmi 10 Specifications

As a quick recap, the upcoming Redmi 10 is expected to arrive with a 6.5” LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels selfie camera housed within it’s central hole-punch cutout compartment.

In the imaging front, the quad-camera system at the back include a 50 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro shooter, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portrait shots.

Under the hood, the Redmi 10 will be among the first to be powered by the new MediaTek Helio G88 chipset which will be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. It’s internal storage as usual, can be further expanded via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the Redmi 10 draws power from a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. On the software-side, the phone will be shipped with MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.
