An unannounced Xiaomi smartphone bearing the model number Xiaomi 220233L2C has been spotted on Geekbench earlier today along with some of it’s key details. Speculations were rife that this device could be the upcoming budget-friendly smartphone known as the Redmi 10A.
According to the listing, the alleged Redmi 10A will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6762G chipset which appears to an entry-level MediaTek Helio G25 mobile platform which was found in a number budget-centric smartphones such as the company’s own Redmi 9A.
Other than that, the same listing also revealed that the device will be launched with 4GB RAM, even though we expect more RAM variants to be available at launch. Software-wise, it appears to be shipped with Android 11 right off the box.
As for the rest of the specs, they remain largely under the wraps at the moment. However, we can expect to see some standard features such as a HD+ IPS LCD display, single/ dual rear camera unit, as well as a huge battery supply.
