Xiaomi has officially announced a new budget-centric smartphone in the South African region known as the Redmi 10C which according to past reports, is expected to launch in certain markets such as India under the Redmi 10 moniker.
Although Xiaomi didn’t reveal the Redmi 10C’s specs in full entirety, but we do know that the phone will be arriving with a 6.71” LCD display with an unspecified screen resolution and refresh rate.
Over at the back, the Redmi 10C comes with a square-shaped camera module which houses a dual-cam setup which will be lead by a 50 megapixels main camera alongside an auxiliary camera. Likewise, there’s also a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner too.
Under the hood, the Redmi 10C is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset which was also used in some recent Redmi models such as the Redmi Note 11 5G. This will be coupled with 4GB RAM as well as an option between 64GB/ 128GB onboard storage.
For those who’re interested, the Redmi 10C is available in a trio of colors such as Black, Blue and Green. The phone will be priced at N78,000 (US$190) and N87,000 (US$210) respectively for it’s 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB variants in the Nigerian market.
