Redmi Note 11 series debuts in Singapore with affordable pricing & enticing specs!

After weeks of anticipation, Xiaomi has finally unveiled the brand new Redmi Note 11 series smartphones in the local market which not only comes with a fresh design, but also some really sweet upgrades that aim to enhance user experience on the phone.

Despite the new improvements, the Redmi Note 11 series continues to be priced competitively with a starting price of just $259 in the local market. Without further ado, let’s check out what the new Redmi Note 11 series smartphones have in store for us!

Redmi Note 11 & Note 11S

Starting with the most affordable models, we have the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S smartphones that share largely identical specs, except for the differences in their camera system and underlying processor.

Both models builds around a 6.43” AMOLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. If you recall, both the Redmi Note 10 and Note 10S only feature a 60Hz refresh rate, so there’s actually some improvement in terms of it’s front display.

In the imaging department, the Redmi Note 11S comes with a quad-camera system lead by a 108 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide unit, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels sensors for macro and depth information.

The Redmi Note 11 on the other hand, swaps the 108MP sensor for a 50MP unit, while keeping the other three cameras unchanged. In fact, their differences extend to the front-facing camera whereby the Redmi Note 11S gets a 16MP shooter while the vanilla Note 11 settles with a 13MP camera instead.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S are powered by a Snapdragon 680 and MediaTek Helio G96 chipset respectively. Although the Redmi Note 11S is available in up to 8GB+128GB memory combo, but Redmi Note 11 features only up to 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. As usual, those who requires more storage can further expands it’s storage capacity via a microSD card.

To keep their lights on, both models are backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery that’s accompanied by 33W fast wired charging which is capable of delivering a full charge in under an hour mark.

From February 11, 2022 onwards, the Redmi Note 11S and Redmi Note 11 will be available for purchase at Authorized Xiaomi stores, partners’ stores and online from official Xiaomi stores on Lazada and Shopee.

Pricing for the Redmi Note 11 starts from S$259 for it’s 4GB+128GB variant and goes up to $279 for the 6GB+128GB model. As for the Redmi Note 11S, it will be priced at $299 and $329 respectively for the 6GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB trims.

Those who purchase the Redmi Note 11S and the Redmi Note 11 at any Authorized Xiaomi Stores or selected partners’ stores from 11 February onwards can bring home a Mi Smart Scale and a Canvas Bag worth SGD 44.90 in total.

Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G

Next up, there’s also another two higher-end models known as the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G. Just like the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S, the two devices also share largely identical specs except for some minor differences.

Upfront, both the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G arrive with a 6.67” AMOLED display that come with FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. On top of that, both models also sports the same 16MP front-facing camera for selfie and video calling purposes.

In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 11 Pro relies on a quad-camera system for it’s photography needs. These cameras include a 108 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a pair of 2 megapixels depth and macro camera. As for the 5G model, it comes with a completely identical rear cameras, except for the lack of 2MP depth sensor.

At the helm, the Redmi Note 11 Pro is powered by the same Helio G96 chipset as the Redmi Note 11S. The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G on the other hand, is fueled by the new Snapdragon 695 chipset instead. Both models will however, feature up to 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage in the memory department.

Other than that, we also can expect both models to be equipped with a similar 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast-charging, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, as well as support for NFC connectivity.

From February 11 to 18, 2022, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 11 Pro will be available for pre-order at Authorized Xiaomi stores, partners’ stores and online from official Xiaomi stores on Lazada and Shopee.

Pricing for the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G kicks off at $359 for it’s 6GB+128GB variant and goes up to $379 for it’s maxed out model with 8GB+128GB configuration. As for the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G, it’ll be priced at $399 and $429 respectively for the 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants.

Those who pre-order the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 11 Pro at any Authorized Xiaomi Stores or selected partners’ stores can bring home a Mi Smart Speaker, plus a Mi Smart Scale 2 worth SGD 98.90 in total.

Likewise, online shoppers in Singapore can also pre-order the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G on Shopee or Lazada, where you’ll get a free Mi True Wireless Earbuds Basic 2 or a Free Mi Smart Band 6, while stocks last.
