Redmi will start with the pre-orders of the Redmi 9 on June 24 in China. The handset is expected to arrive in new colors in the homeland. Today, the Chinese firm released a poster to confirm the color variants of the Redmi 9 for the Chinese market.
In the official poster, the Redmi 9 can be seen in four colors such as Carbon Black, Neon Blue, Lotus Pink, and Dark Green. It is speculated that the handset will be arriving in variants such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage, 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage in China. There is no word on the pricing of the Redmi 9 variants for the homeland. According to an Indian tipster, Redmi may also launch the Redmi 9A entry-level phone alongside the Redmi 9 handset tomorrow.

The Redmi 9 has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display. The waterdrop notch screen offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The MIUI 12 based Android 10 OS runs on the device.
The MediaTek Helio G80 is at the helm of the Redmi 9. The phone houses a 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charging through USB-C.
It has a front camera of 8-megapixel. The backside of the smartphone features a 13-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
