Although the Redmi 9 has yet to be officially announced, but the device is already up for purchase via Lazada Philippines. Thanks to that, the official renders, specs, as well as pricing are all revealed in the listing – leaving no mysteries behind.
As seen in the renders, the Redmi 9 will be offered in a total of 3 different colorways including Black, Green and Purple. Other than that, it had also been confirmed that the Redmi 9 will be available in two different memory configurations – 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB which are priced at 6,990 Peso (US$140) and 7,490 Peso (US$150) respectively.
At the front, the Redmi 9 will be coming with a 6.53-inches dewdrop-notch display which boast a FHD+ screen resolution. It is accompanied with thin bezels along the sides, as well as a small chin towards the bottom of the device.
In the imaging department, the Redmi 9 will feature a quad-cameras system at the rear comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This wil be completed by an 8 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
Under the hood, the Redmi 9 will be driven by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC coupled with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. As expected, the Redmi 9 will also feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
To keep its lights on, the Redmi 9 will be fitted with a huge 5,020mAh battery which is capable of supporting 18W fast-charging. According to Xiaomi, the colossal battery is able to support up to 171 hours of music playback as well as 19 hours of video playback. On the software-side, it will be shipped with the latest MIUI 10 based on Android 10 OS.
