Xiaomi founder, chairman and CEO of Xiaomi Group Lei Jun today shared an image of the retail box of the Redmi K30 5G. The white colored packed with a colorful text on it looks simple and attractive. The smartphone is scheduled to go on sale through all the partnered retailers in China from Jan. 7.
As it can be seen in the image, the Redmi K30 5G has a minimalist design with gradient colored text on it. The 5G logo is placed at one corner. Lei Jun comment that it is a “beautiful package.” The smartphone is currently up for pre-orders in China and it will be available for purchase starting at 10:00 AM (local time) on Jan. 7. It can be availed with a starting price of 1,999 Yuan ($287). By this, it will be selling as the cheapest 5G smartphone in China.
Redmi K30 5G Specifications
The Redmi K30 5G has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display that produces full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The pill-shaped cutout on the screen houses 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual selfie camera setup.
The rear side of the phone has a quad camera setup. It includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Android 10 OS that is customized with MIUI 11 runs on the device.
The Snapdragon 765G chipset powers the smartphone with up to 8 GB of RAM. It offers users with up to 128 GB of storage. There is a microSD card slot for more storage. The phone is packed with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.
