The wait is over. Redmi has finally confirmed today that it will be launching the Redmi K30 Pro 5G flagship phone on March 24. The launch date was recently hinted by Xiaomi China Vice President Wang Xiaoyan. Redmi is known for keeping its launch event on Tuesdays. The March 24 event also falls on the same day.
The Redmi K30 Pro 5G launch event on March 24 will not be only about the company’s new flagship phone. Recent reports have suggested that the company will be announcing other new products. It is speculated that the company may announce a new edition of RedmiBook and a Redmi fitness band.
Redmi K30 Pro Specifications
The Redmi K30 Pro 5G will be powered by Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. The teaser image that the company had released last month had revealed that it will be sporting a notch-less screen and a pop-up selfie camera. Some reports have claimed that its pop-up module could be housing two selfie snappers.
The size of the Redmi K30 Pro 5G’s display could be 6.67 inches. It could be integrated with a fingerprint reader. The phone will come equipped with LPDDR5 RAM. The device may arrive with a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel quad camera setup and 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
The Redmi K30 Pro is expected to come in a standard model and a version called Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition. The company confirmed recently that it is well stocked for the huge demand for the phone.
