Redmi K30 Pro First Sale: 100 Yuan Million Sales Achieved in 30 Seconds

Earlier this week, Redmi had unveiled the Redmi K30 Pro series of smartphones in China. The lineup includes the Redmi K30 Pro 5G and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition 5G phones.

As scheduled, the K30 Pro series went on sale for the first time in China today. Soon after the first sale, the company took to Weibo to confirm that the sales of the Redmi K30 Pro series surpassed 100 million Yuan in just 30 seconds. This equates to between 25,000 to 33,350 units sold within half a minute.

Redmi K30 Pro and K30 Pro Zoom Edition Price

The Redmi K30 Pro series is currently exclusively available in China. It is said that the Redmi K30 Pro could be rebranded as POCO F2 in India. In China, the Redmi K30 Pro series comes with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The Redmi K30 Pro base model 6 GB RAM (LPDDR4X) + 128 GB storage costs 2,999 Yuan ($425). The higher 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage editions of the K30 Pro are priced at 3,399 Yuan ($481) and 3,699 Yuan ($524), respectively.

The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition comes in two options in China. The 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage edition of the phone are priced at 3,799 Yuan ($538) and 3,999 Yuan ($566). There is a higher model with 12 GB RAM + 512 GB and 4,499 Yuan ($637) that hasn’t yet been made available for purchase. Both phones can be bought in colors like Moonlight White, Sky Blue, Purple and Space Gray.
