Today, Redmi had held an unveil event in China to announce 4G and 5G editions of the Redmi K30. Redmi fans may have thought that the company may reveal some information on the Redmi K30 Pro. However, it did not reveal any information on it. An Indian tipster has claimed that the Redmi K30 Pro could be arriving by March in the coming year.
Some reports had claimed that the Redmi K30 Pro will go official in January 2020. However, new information reveals that the Chinese manufacturer may debut the smartphone by March. The leakster has claimed that the Redmi K30 Pro will be equipped with Snapdragon 865.
The next major flagship phone from Xiaomi in China is the Mi 10 series. It is speculated that the upcoming Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro will be arriving as premium flagship phones driven by the Snapdragon 865. The Redmi K30 Pro that will be arriving next year will be fueled by the same chipset and will be commanding a cheaper price tag than the Mi 10 series. Xiaomi will not want the Redmi K30 Pro to disturb the sales of the Mi 10 series. Hence, it is likely that the Redmi K30 Pro may arrive well after the Mi 10 models.
The Redmi K30 Pro may arrive with 120Hz display. It is yet to be ascertained whether it will have an IPS LCD or AMOLED display. It is expected to arrive with better cameras than the Redmi K30 phone. The other details of the phone are currently under the wraps.
