Following weeks of rumors, the Redmi K30i has finally been launched in the Chinese market. This device carries pretty much the same specs and design as the current Redmi K30 5G except for a toned down quad-cameras at the back.
Starting with its front display, the Redmi K30i 5G features a 6.67-inches LCD display which boasts a FHD+ screen resolution and has an incredibly smooth refresh rate of 120Hz.
The Redmi K30i will continue to sport a dual hole-punch cut out on the top-right corner which is home to a pair of selfie cameras including a 20 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor.
At the back, the Redmi K30i 5G has an unique circular camera module which houses a total of four cameras. These cameras include a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 5 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. This will be assisted by a LED flash located below the quad-cameras array.
Under the hood, the Redmi K30i 5G is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. In terms of connectivity, the device is able to support 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
To keep its lights on, there will be a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast-charging at the helm. On the software-side, the Redmi K30i 5G will boot on the latest MIUI 11 based on Android 10 OS.
In the Chinese market, the device is priced at just 1,899 Yuan (US$262) for its sole 6GB+128GB model. Currently, the device is only available in Blue and White colorways.
