Redmi K40 with Snapdragon 775 Could be Coming by Year End

Redmi unveiled the Redmi K30 series by the end of the year 2019 in China. It came in 4G and 5G editions. Fresh information reveals that the Redmi K40 will break cover by the end of this year.

A reliable tipster from China has claimed that the standard edition of the Redmi K40 series will be debuting in Q4 this year. He revealed that the first quarter of the coming year will see the arrival of the Redmi K40 Pro just as the company unveiled Redmi K30 Pro in Q1 this year.

The leak further reveals that the Redmi K40 could be powered by the unannounced SM7350 chipset. The SoC could be debuting in the market as the Snapdragon 775 SoC.

The Redmi K40 Pro could be driven by SM8350 chipset. The SoC be fueled by the Snapdragon 875 SoC. The other details of the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro phones are likely to leak in the coming weeks.

Rumors have it that the Chinese manufacturer is currently working on the launch of the Redmi K30 Ultra smartphone. It is speculated to be fueled by the Dimensity 1000+ SoC. The handset is likely to feature a quad-camera setup with a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel main lens. It may sport a pop-up selfie camera.

The Redmi K30 Ultra could be fitted with a 120Hz refresh rate supporting AMOLED display with notch-less design. The device could be backed by a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
