Redmi is now reportedly working on the Redmi K60 series of smartphones for China. In February this year, Redmi unveiled the Redmi K50 Gaming with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, which was followed by Dimensity 8100-powered Redmi K50 in March. Hence, it appears that the Redmi K60 lineup may arrive by Q1 2023. Today, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station shared key details about the Redmi K60 series phone.
According to the tipster, the Redmi K60 series phone has entered the DVT (Design Verification Testing) phase in China. He has claimed that the device will come equipped with a 2K display, which could be an AMOLED panel.
Under the hood, the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform. He further said that the device is equipped with a 5,500mAh battery. The handset will support 67W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.
These specs may not belong to the vanilla Redmi K60. Instead, it sounds suitable for the Redmi K60 Pro or K60 Gaming. It’s best to wait for more leaks to find out what the final name of the leaked device will be.
A recent leak claimed that the Redmi K60 series phone will get rebranded as the POCO F5 in the global market and India. The POCO F5 is expected to launch after the K60 series hits the Chinese market.
