Redmi K70 series hits 2 million sales milestone in 60 days

The Redmi K70 series achieved a significant milestone by reaching a sales figure of 2 million units within just 60 days since its official launch in China last November. The series includes three devices: the Redmi K70e, K70, and K70 Pro, all of which have been available for purchase for the past two months in the Chinese market. The company recently released a poster detailing the sales report for the K70 lineup.

According to the brand, the Redmi K70 series surpassed the two million unit mark within the 60-day timeframe. For those unfamiliar, the K70e, K70, and K70 Pro were first made available for purchase on December 1 in China.

In a previous Weibo post, the company announced the sale of 1 million units within the first few days of making the K70 trio available for purchase. Subsequently, in the remaining 46 days, an additional million units were sold, marking a significant milestone in the history of Redmi’s K-series.

The Dimensity 8300-Ultra, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively, power the Redmi K70e, K70, and K70 Pro. These devices are priced at 1,999 Yuan (~$281), 2,499 Yuan (~$352), and 3,299 Yuan (~$454), respectively. The K70e has been rebranded as the Poco X6 Pro in the global market. Currently, the K70 and K70 Pro haven’t launched outside of China. However, it is speculated that the K70 may get rebranded as the Poco F6 globally.

Redmi is also said to be working on the Redmi K70 Ultra, equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chipset. It is expected to debut in the second half of the year.
