A recent leak revealed that the Redmi K70 Ultra will offer up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. However, Wang Teng Thomas, the General Manager of the Redmi brand, has confirmed that there will be an even higher version available beyond the 16 GB + 1 TB configuration.
Recently, a Weibo user asked Thomas whether the K70 Ultra will be available in a 24 GB + 1 TB version. He replied positively, confirming the existence of this variant. The brand has already confirmed that the device will feature the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset.
Today, the company released the above poster to confirm that the Redmi K70 Ultra has a 5,500mAh battery with 120W rapid charging. These specifications clearly indicate that the K70 Ultra is a performance-driven smartphone.
The phone is expected to feature a 6.67-inch TCL C8+ OLED panel with a flat design. It offers a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. The device will have an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. In addition, it will feature a P1 signal enhancement chip.
When it comes to durability, the Redmi K70 Ultra will offer an IP68-rated water and dust resistant chassis. The back panel of the phone is made from glass, and it features a metallic frame. It will be available in three shades, such as black, white, and purple.
Redmi has not yet confirmed the Redmi K70 Ultra’s launch date. What’s known is that the device will go official later this month in China and remain exclusive to that market. It is speculated that the same event will see the arrival of Xiaomi’s next generation of foldables, such as the Mix Fold 4 and the Mix Flip.
