Redmi K80 Ultra could be priced between $400 to $550

Redmi has recently launched the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. There are reports that the next major Redmi phone to hit the Chinese market will be the K80 Ultra. Ahead of the launch, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing has seemingly hinted at the price of the device.

Redmi K80 Ultra could be priced between 3,000 Yuan and 4,000 Yuan in China

To recall, the Redmi K70 Ultra, which went official last year, was priced between 2,600 Yuan ($360) and 3,600 Yuan ($500). However, it appears that the K80 Ultra may arrive with an increased price. This assumption is based on a recent Weibo post by Weibing, in which he asked fans for suggestions for phones priced between 3,000 Yuan ($410) and 4,000 Yuan ($550).

Redmi K80 Ultra specifications (rumored)

According to reports, the Redmi K80 Ultra will feature a massive 6.8-inch flat OLED LTPS panel that offers a 1.5K resolution. Probably, it may feature the same 6.83-inch display that’s available on the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. For durability, it will feature a metal middle frame and come with an IP68/69 rating.

Under the hood, the K80 Ultra will feature the Dimensity 9400 Plus and a massive 7,500mAh battery. The handset is expected to support 100W charging. For security, it will feature an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The highest variant of the device may offer 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Redmi is also said to be working on a gaming-focused tablet. This device is said to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and is likely to be dubbed the Redmi Pad Pro 2. It is expected to launch alongside the K80 Ultra. As far as the launch is concerned, these devices are expected to debut in May or June in China.
