Redmi will be unveiling the Note 12 series of smartphones tomorrow. A new leak that has surfaced on Weibo has revealed the entire specifications of the Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro, and Note 12 Explorer.
All the models in the Redmi Note 12 series feature a 6.67-inch flat AMOLED display that supports a Full HD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display also offers up to 900 nits of brightness, 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 10-bit colors, Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HDR10+. The Dimensity 1080 chipset powers the Note 12 trio.
All three phones have a 16-megapixel front camera. The Note 12 Pro will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS.The other two models will be fitted with a Samsung HPX 200-megapixel primary camera. The trio will have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ will have a 5,000mAh battery. The former will support 67W charging, while the latter will offer 120W fast charging. The Note 12 Pro+ will come with a smaller 4,300mAh battery and will be able to charge at 210W.
The Note 12 series will come in multiple LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage variants. The Note 12 Pro will come in options like 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The Note 12 Pro will be available in two configurations: 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The Explorer edition will come in a single 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant. The entire lineup will run on the Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top.
