Redmi will be unveiling the Redmi Note 12 series on Oct. 27 in China. A Weibo account that goes by the name Fenibook has leaked the renders and key specifications of the Note 12 lineup. Continue reading ahead to see what to expect from the Note 12 lineup.
The source has revealed that the Redmi Note 12 series will have three models, such as the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Note 12 Pro+, and Note 12 Explorer Edition. The leak shows that there will be a special edition of the Pro+ model called the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ Tracker Edition.
According to the source, all three models will come equipped with an OLED panel with curved edges. It appears that all three variants will come equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the Note 12 series will feature the Dimensity 1080 chipset.
Only the Redmi Note 12 Pro has an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 camera. The other two models will be fitted with a 200-megapixel Samsung HPX camera with OIS support. There is no information on the auxiliary cameras of the Note 12 series.
The Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+ house a 5,000mAh battery. Both models support 67W and 120W fast charging, respectively. There is no word on the battery size of the Note 12 Explorer Version. However, it will carry support for 210W charging, which will completely charge the device in 9 minutes.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro will be available in Mirror Porcelain White, Midnight Dark, Time Blue, and Shallow Dreamy Galaxy colors. The Note 12 Pro+ will be available in Mirror Porcelain White, Midnight Dark, Time Blue, and Track Edition. The latter sports a green-black dual-tone design. The Explorer Version will come in one colour only: Midnight Dark.
