The Redmi Note 12 lineup is all set to go official on Oct. 27. Ahead of the launch, the Chinese manufacturer is busy confirming the key features of the series. Also, a reliable source in China says that the company will announce three new products on Thursday. He added that it will not launch the standard Redmi Note 12 through the upcoming event, which suggests that it may go official at a later date.
The Redmi Note 12 lineup that comes out on Oct. 27 will include the Redmi Note 12 Pro, the Note 12 Pro, and the Note 12 Exploration Version, the source said. These three devices will be powered by the Dimensity 1080 chipset.
At present, there is no information available on the Redmi Note 12 Exploration Version. The company has confirmed that the Redmi Note 12 Pro will feature an OIS-enabled Sony IMX766 50-megapixel primary camera.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus will be the first-ever phone to feature the Samsung HPX 200-megapixel camera. This camera is different from the one that was made available to the Xiaomi 12T Pro and the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra.
