The Redmi Turbo 3 has been spotted at a certification listing ahead of its launch later this month. It will be the first phone in the upcoming Turbo series, which will be home to the brand’s performance flagships, which are nothing but midrange devices with the performance of high-end phones.
Redmi Turbo 3, model number 24069RA21C, was spotted in the Geekbench benchmark database. The phone went through Geekbench 6.2.2 benchmark tests, securing 1932 points in single-core and 4932 multi-core.
The test model featured 16 GB of RAM and ran on Android 14. The listing also revealed the CPU core configuration of the chipset, which includes a prime core clocked at 3.01GHz, four performance cores at 2.80GHz, and three efficiency cores at 2.02GHz. This corroborates with the configuration of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a new chip from Qualcomm for affordable flagship phones.
The chipset is listed as peridot, which has been associated with the Poco F6 in a previous leak. This suggests the Pocio F6 will be rebranded Redmi Turbo 3 for the global market.
Redmi Turbo 3 specifications (rumored)
According to reports, the Redmi Turbo 3 will likely feature a 1.5K AMOLED screen with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the 20-megapixel selfie cutout. An official image of the phone that surfaced last week revealed that its bottom chin is wider than the rest.
It will have a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera, an 8-megapixel IMX355 ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered smartphone will pack a 5000mAh battery manufactured by Xi’an BYD Electronics with support for 90W wired fast charging.
Though no launch date has been specified yet, Redmi brand manager Wang Teng has confirmed Turbo 3 will go official in China later this month. The global market is likely to receive the device with the Poco F6 branding in May.
