Apart from launching 4G and 5G editions of the Redmi K30 smartphone, Redmi also announce the RedmiBook 13 at the unveil event today. It is a smaller version of the existing RedmiBook 14 device. The new Redmi notebook comes in 10th generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 edition and Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics.
RedmiBook 13 Specifications and Price
The RedmiBook 13 comes with metal body that weighs 1.23kg and its thickness is 17.8mm. The notebook houses a 13.3-inch LCD display that offers 1080 x 1920 full HD+ pixels resolution. It carries support for 16:9 aspect ratio and offers a wide viewing angle of 178 degree.
The Core i7 and Core i5 variants of the RedmiBook 13 feature 8 GB of RAM and come with 512 GB of SSD storage. The notebook is loaded with Windows 10 OS. The usual connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 3.1, HDMI and 3.5mm audio jack are available on the device. The laptop comes equipped with two 2W speakers with DTS audio support. There is a 40W battery inside the RedmiBook 13 that carries support for fast charging. On a single charge, the device can last up to 11 hours.
The RedmiBook 13’s Core i7 and i5 models are respectively priced at 5,499 Yuan ($782) and 4,799 Yuan ($682) It comes in Moonlight Silver color. The laptop will be available for purchase from Dec. 12 in China. There is no word on the international availability of the RedmiBook 13.
