Nokia N9, one of the mobile phones produced by Nokia before the definitive advent of smartphones, could return to the market in a special edition. HMD Global could decide to bring it back into vogue just as it was for 3310 and 8110. As of now, it’s just a speculation and nothing has been confirmed. This hypothesis culminated from a post by HMD Global on Weibo. This Friday marks the thirteenth anniversary of famous N series line-up from the pre-smartphone era.
The company added that it would tease a related product from tomorrow until 2 May and on the actual launch date, it will unveil smartphones. The rumor mill believes that it will be the Nokia X6, ready to arrive on the market in two variants. Only the Chinese office of HMD has hinted at a possible return of Nokia Nseries, though most of the products from the company are eventually released to other parts of the world. Just a few days ago, HMD Global teased the Nokia X series thus hinting a possible return to the market. In fact, it is the first teaser of the upcoming smartphone of the famous brand, reborn under the guidance of HMD Global. For now, the company has referred to the Nokia N series only in China , but normally all the company’s devices arrive other markets subsequently.
