We’ve been hearing for quite some time that OnePlus will be launching the new Nord 2T smartphone in the Indian market somewhere this month. Now, a new report has added more credence to this claim by revealing that the phone could be announced on June 27th in the Indian market.
Apart from the launch date, the same report also noted that the Nord 2T will be offered in two variants such as 8GB+128GB and 12GB+128GB. Likewise, those who’re interested will also have an option between Shadow grey and Jade Fog colorways.
To recall, the OnePlus Nord 2T was the first smartphone in the market to be powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 1300 mobile platform which can be seen as a decent upgrade over the Dimensity 1200 chipset used in last year’s Nord 2.
It has a 6.43” AMOLED display that features a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a 32MP front-facing camera that handles selfies and video calls on the device. On the imaging side of things, the phone is equipped with a triple-camera array lead by a 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 main camera along with a pair of 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera and a 2 megapixels monochrome lens.
To keep it’s lights on, the OnePlus Nord 2T is also backed by a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast-charging support. It’ll be shipped with the latest OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 OS right off the box.
