In the previous month, Samsung had unveiled the Galaxy A8 (2018) smartphone alongside its larger variant, the Galaxy A8+ (2018). During its launch, Samsung had only confirmed on the European pricing of both phones. Fresh information suggests that the first market to receive the Galaxy A8 (2018) phone is the home country of South Korea.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) will be available through KT Corp. mobile carrier with a pricing of 599,500 won (~$560). A South Korean publication has claimed that the handset will be available with discounts through different carrier plans. Also, it can be availed in color choices such as Black, Blue and Gold. As of this writing, there is no information on when Samsung will be releasing the Galaxy A8+ (2018) in South Korea. The pre-orders of the Galaxy A8 will begin in South Korea from Tuesday followed by a market release on Friday.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) duo are also expected to arrive in the European markets in this month. Also, it is expected to get showcased at the Consume Electronics Show (CES) tech trade event that will is scheduled to take place in the next week.
The Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) are the first phones from Samsung to come with dual front-facing cameras of 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel.
