Samsung Galaxy A82 promo video surfaced; launch could be imminent

Samsung recently announced a new upper mid-ranger smartphone in the South Korean market known as the Galaxy Quantum2 that features a dedicated quantum random number generator (QRNG) for security purposes. This device, according to past reports, is likely to arrive in the global market under the Galaxy A82 5G moniker.

Now, the official promo video of the Galaxy A82 5G has been leaked by reputable leaker Max Weinbach which reaffirmed the existence of this device – but didn’t reveal any sign which may suggests that the phone could be a rebranded model of the Galaxy Quantum2.

Since the Galaxy A82 5G had already bagged multiple certifications including Bluetooth SIG, we believe that its official launch shouldn’t be far off and is likely to be launched somewhere during the first-halve of the year.

For those who’d missed out, the Samsung Galaxy A82 is expected to sport 6.67” Super AMOLED Infinity-O display that offers a QHD screen resolution and a smooth 120Hz screen refresh rate. Likewise, there’s also a 10 megapixels selfie camera as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.

In the imaging department, the phone relies on a triple-camera system lead by a 64 megapixels main camera alongside a 12 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 5 megapixels macro camera.

Under the hood, it’s powered by a two-years-old Snapdragon 855+ chipset which is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. Finally, it draws power from a respectable 4,500mAh battery which supports up to 25W fast-charging.
