Samsung Galaxy J6 Geekbench Listing Emerges

Earlier in this month, the codenames of several upcoming Samsung phones were leaked through the beta build of Android 8.0 Oreo. The Galaxy J4 and J8 smartphones was then seen on Geekbench. Today, another unannounced Samsung phone with model number SM-J600F has been spotted on the benchmarking platform. It could be the upcoming Galaxy J6 smartphone.

According to the Geekbench listing, the upcoming Galaxy J6 will be powered by Exynos 7870 chipset. It is the very same SoC that is found present under the hood of Galaxy J5 (2017). It is a 14nm chipset that includes 1.6 GHz octa-core processor. The handset is running on Android 8.0 Oreo. The SoC coupled with 2 GB of RAM. In single-core test, the Galaxy J6 has scored 726 whereas it has scored 3643 in multi-core test.

It appears that the Galaxy J6 may sport specs similar to Galaxy J5 (2017). The latter had launched with full HD display. There is a possibility that the South Korean tech giant may launch eh Galaxy J6 with full screen design. As of this writing, it is too early to speculate on the specs and features of the phone. The rumor mill is expected to spill more information on the smartphone in the near future.
