Past reports have revealed that Samsung is working on a device named Galaxy M01. The handset is expected to arrive with entry-level specs, and it will be positioned lower than the Galaxy M11 phone in the market. The device was recently found listed at Google Play Console. A fresh report on 91mobiles has also important information on its specifications.
The leak states that the Galaxy M01 will be sporting a 5.71-inch TFT screen with an Infinity-V notch. The display of the M01 is expected to deliver an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels. The chin of the device is thick.
The modest Snapdragon 439 chipset will power the Galaxy M01 along with 3 GB of RAM. The phone will offer users with built-in storage of 32 GB and a microSD card slot for more storage.
The Galaxy M01 will arrive with a big battery of 4,000mAh capacity. Unfortunately, the handset will support slow charging at 5W. The Android 10 OS along with One UI will run on the device.
The rear panel of the phone will have a dual-camera setup that includesa 13-megapixel primary shooter with f/2.0 aperture and a depth sensor of 2-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. For capturing selfies, users can make use of its f/2.0 aperture 5-megapixel front camera. The leaked specs suggest that it could be a rebranded edition of the Galaxy A01 phone with slight modifications in the specs.
There is no word on the pricing of the smartphone. As mentioned, the publication has claimed that the Galaxy M01 will be debuting in India in June first week. The South Korean company may also launch the Galaxy M11 smartphone alongside it in the country. The M11 had previously unveiled in UAE in March this year.
