Samsung Galaxy M12 officially announced with Exynos 850 & 48MP Quad-camera setup

We’d heard about the existence of the Samsung Galaxy M12 for quite some time but its only until today that the device finally went official in the Vietnamese market.

Starting with the front, the new Galaxy M12 flaunts a 6.5-inch LCD display that offers a decent HD+ screen resolution. It comes with the usual Infinity-V design upfront to accommodate an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

Around the back of the device, there’s a squarish camera module which houses a quad-camera setup consisting of a 48 megapixels primary shooter, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy M12 is powered by an octa-core Exynos 850 chipset coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. As usual, its storage capacity can be further expanded by to 1TB via a microSD card.

Keeping its lights on will be a massive 6,000mAh battery which features 15W fast-charging support. Other than that, it also brings along a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

For those who’re interested, the Galaxy M12 is available in three different colorways including Blue, Black and Green. As for its official pricing, it is kept under wraps at the moment.
