Samsung will be launching the Galaxy M40 smartphone in India on June 11. It will be the fourth M-series phone from the company after Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30. Around a week before the launch of the phone, its full specifications have been revealed.
Samsung Galaxy M40 Specifications and Features
Leaked information has revealed that the Galaxy M40 may arrive with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display that will offer full HD+ resolution. Unlike the other M-series phone that have waterdrop-style notch, the M40 will feature a punch-hole designed display. The Snapdragon 675 chipset will be fueling the phone. It will be coupled with 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The Android 9 Pie OS with OneUI skin from Samsung will come preinstalled on the device.
The Galaxy M40 is expected to come with a 3,500mAh battery with support for fast charging through USB-C. For shooting selfies, it will have a 16-megapixel front camera. The triple camera setup on its rear is expected to house a 32-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel sensor. It will be equipped with a rear-facing fingerprint reader.
As of this writing, there is no update available on the price tag of Galaxy M40. Since the less powerful Galaxy M30 is selling for Rs. 17,990 in India, there is a possibility that the Galaxy M40 could be priced at Rs. 19,990.
