Samsung Galaxy M41’s Display Details Appear

Samsung is working on the successor edition of the Galaxy M40. Ideally, it should be called Galaxy M41, but several reports have called it Galaxy M51. There is a possibility that the Galaxy M41 and M51 could be two different devices. A fresh report on South Korean publication The Elec has revealed the display details of the Galaxy M41 phone.

The report reveals that the Galaxy M41 features a flexible OLED panel from CSOT firm from China. The report also states that the phone will launch at some point this month in India. It also states that the phone will cost Rs. 17,999 ($237).

The Galaxy M40 had featured an IPS LCD punch-hole display of 6.3 inches. Fresh information reveals that the Galaxy M41 could be featuring a 6.67-inch flexible OLED panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The same cost-effective display is available on the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Motorola Edge+ smartphones.

The LCD panels from China’s BOE and CSOT are used on Galaxy A and M series smartphone. Apart from CSOT OLED panels, Samsung is also planning to use BOE’s OLED screen on Galaxy A and M phones.

The alleged Galaxy M51 (or M41) was recently spotted on Geekbench benchmarking platform. It revealed that the phone is equipped with Snapdragon 675 mobile platform. It is the same SoC that drives the Galaxy M40 phone from last year.

The Galaxy M51 (or M41) phone was seen on Geekbench with 8 GB of RAM. It was found to be preinstalled with Android 10 OS. The smartphone is expected to feature a quad camera setup with a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 main lens. The phone may come with a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.
